You can find many different ideas for your gifts simply by using the theme of your wedding or choosing gifts that reflect the personalities of your bridesmaids.

One way to make gift shopping easy is to decide on an overall plan. For example, you might want to keep it simple by getting everyone the same thing. You would have to find something with a wide appeal. You could always add a personal touch by having their individual initials on their gift in the main color scheme of your wedding. This way you would tie the gift into the wedding as well as personalize it.

Another plan might be to select variations on a theme. Examples of themes might be personal care items, accessories (scarves, gloves, hair decorations, or sashes), or a gift certificate specific to each person’s tastes and interests.

You could also choose each gift individually for each person. This might be best if your wedding is relatively small.

Your gifts could be chosen to reflect the style or location of your wedding. For example, if you're having your wedding at the beach, you could give each bridesmaid a beach towel and beach bag. If you’re going to a different city, you could give them a gift certificate to a specific place or event there, a coffee table book about the area, or a gift bag full of local memorabilia related to the trip. For example, a New York wedding gift bag might contain a guidebook to the city, a disposable camera, a New York T-shirt and food treats, and even a taxi cab trinket.
